The Great Power-Cable Shootout :-)

One of the above files represents the 'special' power cable, the other, the complete POS! - Question is; "which is which" (or "which sounds buggered")? Files are 5.2 megabytes each, dial-up visitors may need a bit of patience... Some of you who take the time to examine the data size of the actual .WAV files in an audio editing application will no doubt note that the files are not identical from a Kb perspective. Its not because of the acoustic content however, its the length of the recording. I was simply not able to hit the start / stop button at exactly the same time; 'to the bit/ byte' as it were. The .JPG image below isn't perfect either; there is actually a hair more at the end of the files - just 'dead-air'.
